Completion sections

What is a Completion section?

The Completion section is the final screen of every class. It's always the last section. When a guest reaches this section, their check-in is marked as completed and a completion timestamp is recorded.

Use the Completion section to:

• Congratulate guests for finishing the class
• Provide a closing message or next steps
• Recommend other classes for guests to take next

What the admin configures

Title

Click the section title to open the title modal and rename it.

Example titles: "You did it!", "Class complete", "What's next?", "Thank you!"

Body text

Click the body text area to open the rich text editor. Add a completion message, instructions for next steps, or any relevant information.

Recommended classes ("Go to" links)

You can add links to other classes so guests can easily continue their journey. Each link is displayed as a button with a label and optional description.

Adding recommended classes

   In the Completion section editor, click Add Recommended Class (shown in the empty state when no links exist yet).

   A class picker appears showing all other classes in your church.

   Click the class you want to link to.

   A Go to card is created for that class.

Editing a "Go to" card

Click on a Go to card to open its edit modal. You can update:

• Label — the text displayed on the button (default: "Go to [Class Name]")
• Description — optional text shown beneath the label

Reordering "Go to" cards

Use the Move ↑/↓ buttons to reorder the cards. The new order saves automatically.

Removing a "Go to" card

Click the delete icon on a card to remove it.

What guests see

Guests see:

• The completion section title as a heading
• The body text
• A grid of Go buttons, one for each recommended class you added

Each button shows the label and optional description you configured. Clicking Go takes the guest to the start of that class.

The guest's check-in is automatically marked as completed when they reach this section.

Restrictions

The Completion section cannot be:

• Deleted
• Duplicated
• Moved (it is always the last section)

Every class has exactly one Completion section.

Common questions

Do I have to add recommended classes?

No. The Completion section works fine with just a title and message. Recommended classes are optional.

Is a guest's check-in marked complete as soon as they reach the Completion section?

Yes. The completion timestamp is recorded when the guest arrives at the Completion section, not when they click a Go button or leave the page.

What if a guest leaves the class before reaching the Completion section?

Their check-in remains in an "in progress" state. It won't have a completion timestamp. In the Guest list, their status is shown as in progress.
